Collector's Special Limited Edition

The ALI Folio™ contains 14 stunning “gotta have” photographic prints by documentary and fine-art photographer Sonia Katchian, that every art connoisseur and Muhammad Ali fan will want to own. Only 50 sets of The ALI Folio™ will be printed. The archival pigment prints have tonalities previously unattainable in the traditional silver gelatin process. It is a joy to be able to produce this edition the way the images were meant to be seen. Fourteen photographs plus Prologue are printed on heavy watercolor paper using the latest scanning and pigment-ink technologies. The oversized prints are on 24” X 30,” 425gsm, paper by Crane’s® using Ultrachrome K3 inks for the ultimate in archival longevity.

We can proudly say that with proper handling and storage, these prints are guaranteed to be stable for a minimum of 100-200 years. The prints of Muhammad Ali can be kept safely in their box to be viewed on special occasions, or they can be framed and used as a kind of ‘rotating gallery’ of Ali photos for you and your friends to enjoy for years to come. The box is a work of art in itself. It has been carefully handcrafted for us by California artisan Don Drake of Dreaming Mind, using all-natural materials such as buffered wheat-paste glue to ensure pH neutrality for several lifetimes. The box is covered in an elegant Belgian linen, and the inset on the cover shows a photo of the young Ali in Zaire, the title and a facsimile of Ali’s signature-- all printed on linen.

Folios 7 – 9: $12,000 and so on.
